Onafhankelijk onderzoek aan de Universiteit van Loughborough beoordeelde hoe verschillende wetsuitontwerpen de zwemprestaties beïnvloeden. In een casestudy van drie atleten - beginner, gevorderd en vergevorderd - toonde de Agile meetbare verbeteringen in snelheid en efficiëntie bij dezelfde waargenomen inspanning.

Interpretation:

Agile wetsuit

De Agile is voorzien van een combinatie van drijfpanelen van twee, drie en vier millimeter, waardoor uw lichaam gestroomlijnd in het water blijft. Hierdoor raakt u minder snel vermoeid en kunt u uw techniek en snelheid verbeteren.
In combinatie met een zeer rekbaar schouderpaneel voor meer flexibiliteit, verbetert de Agile de vorm nog verder door de luchtweerstand aanzienlijk te verminderen en uw potentiële bereik bij elke armbeweging te vergroten.
Eco-vriendelijk neopreen, afgeleid van kalksteen en schrootrubberbanden, vermindert het energieverbruik en de CO2-uitstoot met 200 g per pak. Het grootste deel van het afval van de neopreenproductie wordt gerecycled in de pakken, wat helpt om stortafval te minimaliseren en de omgeving waarin we trainen te beschermen.
Het Agile wetsuit beschikt over diverse eigenschappen die andere instapmodellen wetsuits in deze prijsklasse niet bieden.
1. Geen flatlock-stiksels. De naden zijn volledig gelijmd en blind gestikt om volledige waterdichtheid, flexibiliteit en geen intern ongemak te garanderen.
2. Geen nylon neopreen panelen. De Agile is gemaakt van een mix van Speedflo en Smoothskin coatings om ervoor te zorgen dat water niet in het pak doordringt, het gewicht verhoogt en weerstand veroorzaakt.
3. Focus op prestaties. Zoals alle Zone3-producten, ook al kunnen de materialen en dikte niet tippen aan onze meer elitemodellen, is de Agile ontworpen voor snelheid en comfort.

"I bought the wetsuit to do my first triathlon (IM70.3). Wetsuit keeps warmth great and provided the right amount of buoyancy. I felt much more comfortable in open water wearing it. Size is comfortable, but not “pro race tight”. I’m 6’3”, 205lbs. The L was too tight to get over the shoulders. XL fits comfortable and is great for me. Could be tighter, but I’m in between sizes."

Technically My Size, Spiritually a Compression Bandage

"Looks a really good product however very much on the small: According to the size guide I was a perfect fit, for a ML but had to return and up size twice to an XL. Getting into the first two wetsuits looked less like open water swimming and more like a middle-aged man being vacuum packed for storage. 179cm/81kg/106cm chest. Ohhhhhhh the wife didn’t stop laughing for a week."

Q&A

Hi, I'm after the Agile wetsuit and think I need either SM or ST. I'm 177cm tall, 68 kg, 91cm chest. My inside leg is 78.5cm (31") so I think I may have a slightly longer than average torso. Please could you advise?
Based off of your measurements and after consulting our size guide, we would recommend a size SM.
Is it the men’s agile wetsuit fina approved?
Unfortunately, the Agile is not Fina Approved. If you are looking for a Fina Approved suit, please take a look at our Advance Wetsuit.
I have ventured in to doing Triathlons and have started with Sprint Pool based events. (UKTriathlon Events) I plan to do bigger events soon that require open water swimming & a wetsuit. I am a big guy and I did your measuring tool and it recommends XXL. I am always weary ordering things like this on line. Even with your return policy, is there a store I can try them on before I buy? I just don't want to do the back a forth thing as I have done with other wearable products I have bought online from other companies. ALSO, I am slow and a first timer so would you recommend the Agile Wetsuit or Aspect Wetsuit? I more than likely will use breaststroke during swim but I may try mastering front Crawl in the future.

I am just getting started at sea swimming. i pool swim regularly and this my 1st wet suit. By your size guiee i am right at the end of ML chest size, i am 42 inch chest rested, and my weight is 83 and i am 5ft 9 tall. I can only imagine that tighter is better than looser!
